Display Advertising
Help sponsor your community networking site! A minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) of member display ad revenue is donated back to your organization. If 90% of the total display ad spaces are filled for a full quarter we will donate 50% of the display ad revenue back to your organization.
The total amount of display ad spaces on each page is 12 (6 visible ads displayed in rotation with 6 ads hidden from view at any time). Given: 12 ads per homepage, 12 per business directory, 12 per classifieds, 12 per events directory, the total potential ads equals 48 (12 ads/page x 4 pages = 48). 48 ads X 90% = 43 ads. If 43 ads run each month for a calendar year quarter (ex:Jan - March) we will donate back 50% of the total display ad revenue. A 90% ad rate each quarter would generate close to $4000/year.
Guidelines
- Display ad space is limited so ad placement is "first come, first served" for approved ads. See general posting guidelines under FAQ tab.
- One display ad is allowed per member at any given time unless there is available space.
- Second display ads by a single business will be sold only on a month-to-month schedule. The second Ad will be discontinued if another member's ad is submitted.
- Member ads have first priority over non-member ads. Non-member advertising will only occur if space is available.
- If more ads are submitted than spaces available, ads will go onto a waiting list and be placed in the order submitted as space becomes available.
Ad Duration
- Minimum ad duration is 3 months, maximum is 12 months.
- If there is available space, we reserve the right to allow an ad to extend past 12 months, but only on a month-to-month schedule.
- Advertisers will be charged only after he/she approves the ad as placed on the site and has sent electronic approval. Credit cards will be charged monthly.

Customer credit cards will be charged monthly either directly or through PayPal depending on how initial payment was set up.
Modification, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Once approved by the advertiser, the ad will run for a minimum of three months. No refund during this time will be allowed. However, an advertiser is allowed one ad modification (or replacement), at no charge, over the duration of the ad. Any additional modifications will be charged a fee.
If an advertiser is charged incorrectly, a refund will be provided within 30 days of a written request. If after 3 months an advertiser decides to shorten the duration or cancel an ad, written notice (email, fax or mail) must be submitted to IlluminedConnections.com 30 days in advance.
